System Requirements

WATER Power Tools™ v1.0 for Microsoft Excel^® runs on Microsoft Excel 2000 or Excel XP, which must be provided by the user. Microsoft Excel^® is not included in WPT™.

WATER Power Tools™ v1.0 makes extensive use of macros. In order for WPT™ to operate correctly, you must set the macro security level in Excel to Medium or Low. When you set the security to Medium, each time you open a new WPT™ workbook you will be asked if you want to let macros run. You must select "yes" or the workbook will not operate properly. When you set the security to Low the macros in WPT™ will run automatically. This the easiest way to use WPT™. However, with a low macro security setting it may also be possible for virus macros to run on your computer. To protect your system from virus macros you are encouraged to have an up-to-date copy of antivirus software running on your computer. Antivirus software is not included in WPT™. GeoAnalytica assumes no responsibility for the security settings on your computer and for any harm or damage that may arise on your system from changing the macro security level.

Minimum Computer System Requirements include the following:

Windows® 2000 or Windows® XP is recommended
Microsoft Excel® 2000 or XP
Pentium III at 233 MHz
64MB RAM
40 MB Hard Disk Space

You may also want a printer to print out reports. A color printer is not required, but some of WPT™'s reports use color to enhance the readability of the data presented in the reports.
