	Resource MANAGEMENT Page A2.0 Basic Standards for the State of ______________ A2.0 allows you to create outdoor demand and irrigation standards for your system. Many states have minimum state and/or local regulatory agency requirements for outdoor water demand and irrigiation standards. A2.0 allows you to enter these requirements into WATER Power Tools™ so that they can be incorporated into the overall measurements and projections for your system. Where no standards exist, use the best estimate of local demands. You will note that the screen shot below shows sample data from the State of Utah. Many of the worksheets in WATER Power Tools™ contain sample data to help you understand how the programs work. Once you understand how a worksheet operates you can erase the sample data and enter data specific for your system.

	Remember that you can use state values or you can develop unique values for your system. WPT™ allows you the flexibility to tailor its calculations and results to your specific needs. A3.0 allows you to store a map of our state's irrigation zones in WPT™. The values you enter or create in A2.0 are used in WPT™ worksheets including A4.3, the Level of Service Standard and Typical ERC Assumptions, and A6.0, System Source and Facility Sizing or Planning.
